PCE Instruments PT-AT Adhesion Tester

The PT-AT Adhesion Tester measures the traction force necessary to remove a defined area of a coating from a subsurface. The surface condition of the testing material is of significance regarding the measurement of extraction force or adherence. Traction force will be shown on the LC display of the Adhesion Tester and will give information about the adherence to the substrate material. Unevenness of the surface will be compensated by the self-alignment of the several measurement heads on the Adhesion Tester. Additionally, the Adhesion Tester has a traction velocity display to guarantee realization of testing according to ISO / AST standardization.

The Adhesion Tester can be utilized in fields dealing with input and output control, production, and research and development. The splash-water resistant, dust resistant, and vibration resistant Adhesion Tester can be deployed in many different environments. The hydraulic hand operated pump allows application in almost every position. A special advantage of the Adhesion Tester is its internal measurement memory, allowing you to conduct serial measurements or test series within product development without losing data. The Adhesion Tester can transmit data to a PC or laptop for evaluation using the optional software. For example, measurement data can also be transmitted to MS Excel for organization and review. The Adhesion Tester will be delivered with measurement heads of a standard diameter. Other sized heads are available for order optionally, as well as several sizes of probes.
